A nice testimonial
My name is Stephen and I am a 28 year old amateur triathlete from Columbia, MO. ... I have competed in over 30 events in the last 2.5 years and am often one of the first swimmers out of the water. I have resisted wetsuits and swimskins for a long time, thinking that they wouldn’t benefit my swimming as much as they would for a beginner and fearing the loss of too much time in T1. I broke down and bought a Blue Seventy PointZero 3 this spring and gave it a try in the pool. I really liked how it felt on my body and the way I slid through the water.
At the end of June, I competed in my second half iron triathlon in Effingham, Ill with my PointZero 3. While most athletes there wore wetsuits, I was perfectly comfortable in my swimskin. I swam neck and neck with the elite athletes and was the 5th out of water (7th fastest time overall) and with the ease of removal I left T1 in second place overall! The rest of the event was fun, I held my own on the bike, but still have a long way to go in my running.
...
I guess all I have left to say is…THANK YOU!!! You guys are awesome. I have several people ask me about the PointZero 3 every time I wear it…it always gets an enthusiastic two thumbs up!
Sincerely,
SJP

blueseventy nero worn by European Champion
Swimmer Mark Foster is aiming for a first ever Olympics medal in China to add to his 47 international medals.
"I'm optimistic but I'm also a realist at the same time. The goals are 'make semi-final', 'make the final' and in the final anything can happen."
The University of Bath swimmer said a medal in Beijing would be the highlight of his career.

Suzanne Heim-Bowen Breaks World Record in the nero!
Suzanne HeimBowen became the first female over 50 to break the 19 minute record for the 1500m distance during the Pacific Masters Swimming Championships held in Santa Cruz, California over July 11-13th. Suzanne's time was 18:45.1 breaking the previous World record for Master's Women 50-54 year age group of 19:08. She swam in the blueseventy nero Comp.
"I was expermenting with the suit to see how it would do in a long distance pool event. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. In Perth, Australia at the World Masters Aquatic Championships (held in April 08), I took home 5 gold and a bronze, setting world records and gold medals in the 200, 400 and 800 meter free and meet record in the 100 free."
She also won a gold medal in the 3k event and bronze in the 50m. All of which was swum in the nero.
"I love the suit." she says "No, I REALLY love the suit! I get a lot of questions about competing in the suit - some with skepticism but once they try on a blueseventy nero, they too feel the difference in a good way. I would like to believe that my success as of late is due to my ability, but I think there is another contributing factor involved here....yes THE suit! The nero rocks!"
Congratulations Suzanne!

2) Lara Jackson broke an American Record in the 50m free in blueseventy. Overall, she ended up 3rd by .06 seconds.
3) While wearing the nero, Ben Hesen broke an American Record in the 50m backstroke during time trials.. He broke the record TWICE!
Thank you to all of those who gave the blueseventy nero comp a go. We appreciate all your feedback but most of all we absolutely love helping you go faster than you've ever been before! Bring on the Olympics...

the blueseventy dressing room
So the American boys had a bit of fun at the USA Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha last week. Here, our swimming ambassador Roque shows us how quickly a nero swimskin can be put on - even in a lift!
German Masters Swim Nationals
Monika Zilliken had this to say about her nero....
"The nero has not only landed ... he is more than quick on his way and more than quick "with" me on the way ;-))
During our nationals I was able to amend my current swim times:
50 m free for 1,5 seconds (meant place 9) ,
50 m breast for 2,1 seconds (place 3)
100 m breast for 6 (!!!) seconds (place 6)
A lot of reasons to be happy!
More than one swimmer had been curious about my black suit. Eyes followed me ... and some interesting contacts occured. I'm curious about it!
All the best,
Monika"
Thank you for your comments and congratulations Monika!

blueseventy's first pool record!
On Saturday Lara Jackson set the American record in the women's 50-meter freestyle by finishing her preliminary heat in 24.50 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Swimming trials, whilst wearing a blueseventy nero comp! Jackson's time eclipsed the previous American mark of 24.53 seconds held by Dara Torres, who ironically was racing in the lane next to the 2008 NCAA champion from the University of Arizona. Congratulations Lara!
Rumour has it another record was just broken in a nero...we'll keep you posted!
Sorry Kirsty....

Stovall puts nero in spotlight in US Olympic swim trials
All members of the blueseventy team globally are ecstatic at the news of the 200m fly swimmer Gil Stovall after he finished in second place behind the great Michael Phelps at the USA trials in Omaha, becoming the second fastest man in history finishing in the event. Reducing his best time by nearly three seconds in his blueseventy nero swimskin, Stovall launched himself into 'legendary' status. All of the blueseventy team want to wish him well for future events in the trials and the 2008 Olympics. Gil is not the only athlete wearing the blueseventy nero, but is certainly the highest profile to date.
